"Don't take marriage lightly," counsels Laver Robinson. "You have to have a strong determination to make your marriage a success."
Any wise marriage advice from Max Robinson and his wife is backed by 80 years of experience. The couple, members of the Sierra Ward, Fresno California West Stake, celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary Nov. 1.
The Robinsons, both 97, live by themselves in their home of 40 years and are the parents of three daughters; they have 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
"Max and I really have had a great life together," Laver Robinson said during a telephone interview.
