Over the years at least two of my sons have wanted to fly, and both of them have tried with wildly different results.
I have dealt with forest fires, waded through icy flood waters and spent three hours in a
very small room with Charlie Manson, but a gentle man named Dale scares me to death.
A bit over a month ago my dear bride, the saintly Susan, did something amazing -- she quit!
Later this year a disturbing thing will happen, and even though it is
months away, I am preparing myself for the predictable shock.
