Delaware Mormons to give governor her genealogy
Delaware Online
Tuesday, Jan. 06, 2009
Local leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) will give Gov. Ruth Ann Minner four volumes of family history during a luncheon at Woodburn on Wednesday.

“This is a small token of our appreciation for her years of public service,” said Steve Engebretsen, who proposed the idea of compiling the governor’s family history to local Mormon leaders.

Engebretsen serves as a leader in the Church's Wilmington Delaware Stake. The stake is a geographic area, similar to a diocese, which encompasses fourteen congregations and almost 5,000 members throughout Delaware and parts of Maryland.
