The Religious Studies Program at Utah Valley University will host filmmaker
Helen Whitney for a panel discussion on her PBS documentary "The
Mormons" on Friday, Feb. 12, 10 a.m.-noon.
Several comic actors play wacky geeks in "When in Rome," and
according to one national movie critic, "Jon Heder as a goofy street
magician is the funniest of the bunch."
It's a thrill to read the stories in 'Supersonic Saints." Is the film a thrill? Not so much.
In "Another Testament: Reflections of Christ" the viewer is treated to
a behind-the-scenes look at what went into filming this feature film.
This 16-minute documentary isn't meant to be all-inclusive. It's purposefully kept light and simple, and that's part of the magic.
"Black and White World," directed by Ethan Vincent, tells the story of
a strained father-son relationship that expands beyond the square world
of crossword puzzles.
This past week the audio/visual department of the LDS Church came to
campus looking for people to star in a short film for the
upcoming National Genealogical Society conference.
