Waianae members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are hosting an open-house party next Saturday to celebrate restoration of their church, which was damaged two years ago in a fire and caused about $2.5 million in damage.
The 10 a.m. event at 85-576 Old Plantation Road will give neighbors and supporters a look at the rebuilt multipurpose building, which includes a gymnasium, kitchen, classrooms and offices.
